Details

Arrive by 7:00 AM to help set up games, activities, and photo backdrop. Keep game pieces organized and encourage sharing and movement. Parents should be encouraged to stay with their children—volunteers are not babysitters. Use sidewalk chalk to draw hopscotch and tic-tac-toe on the pavement. At wrap-up (by 10:45 AM), help clean up and prepare items to move back inside.

Details

Make sure bottled water, Gatorade, and bananas are separated and ready to hand to runners. Hand out bottled water, Gatorade, and bananas to runners as they finish the 5K, 10K, or 1K. Once all runners have finished, help organize leftover drinks and bananas so they’re ready
to be taken inside. The clean-up crew will handle putting everything away. Cheer on runners at finish line.
